Designed to be used with the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, this silver-colored, low-profile hub features a magnetic strip to help ensure a secure connection to your laptop. It features a Thunderbolt 3 port with up to 40 Gb/s throughput and 100W power delivery in addition to a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C connector with 60W power delivery capable of up to 5 Gb/s for connecting devices such as storage drives and printers. Two USB 3.1 Type-A ports are available for peripherals such as keyboards and mice, making for a combined throughput rate of up to 50 Gb/s for across all seven ports.
The HyperDrive DUO also has both a SD and microSD card reader for transferring photos, videos, and more to your MacBook. You can connect a 3840 x 2160 4K display to the hub's HDMI port to enjoy watching videos on a larger screen or to increase your desktop space for more efficient multitasking.
Please note that the HyperDrive DUO hub does not support Apple SuperDrives and its USB ports cannot charge iPads.
