Each battery provides up to 100 minutes of recording at 8K/30fps, or up to 190 minutes at 6K/24fps. With three batteries rotating through the Multifunctional Battery Case 2, you can sustain several hours of continuous recording — enough for a full day of skiing, cycling, hiking, or event coverage without running out of power.
Does the Invisible Selfie Stick work automatically?
Yes. When the Osmo 360 is mounted on the included 1.2m Invisible Selfie Stick and recording in 360 mode, the camera's stitching algorithm automatically removes the stick from the final footage. No editing or masking is needed. The result is a dramatic floating third-person perspective that makes solo content look like it was filmed by a second camera operator.
Can I use the Osmo 360 underwater without a case?
Yes. The camera body is IP68 rated and natively waterproof to 10 metres provided the battery hatch and USB-C doors are fully sealed. A dedicated underwater dive housing is recommended for deep underwater 360 video capture to avoid distortion along stitching lines caused by fisheye lens refraction. Remove the clear land lens protectors before going underwater.
Do I need a high-end computer to edit 8K 360 footage?
For everyday editing, mobile reframing, and social exports, the DJI Mimo app handles all stitching on your smartphone. For desktop work in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, a modern system with a discrete GPU is recommended for smooth 8K playback. Working with proxy footage makes editing accessible on standard computers.
Does it connect directly to older DJI wireless microphones?
The built-in OsmoAudio™ direct pairing protocol supports cable-free connection to DJI Mic transmitters for dual-channel wireless recording. Legacy first-generation DJI Mic setups are not natively supported via Bluetooth and will require plugging the matching receiver module directly into the USB-C port.
