The E+Ready ER310 Emergency Crank Weather Alert Radio from Midland is a valuable tool for emergency situations. It not only keeps you informed during severe weather or civil emergencies, but it can alert search and rescue teams to your whereabouts as well.

It can be powered via a solar panel, a hand crank, or its rechargeable Li-ion battery, ensuring long-lasting functionality. As a back-up power option, the ER310 can run on six AA batteries.

Weather Alert Function

When a weather alert is received the weather alert function will sound an audible siren, and the flashlight and LCD screen will flash on and off for 1 minute to alert you to the incoming information.

Emergency Help

The Cree LED flashlight can be used as an emergency beacon that flashes SOS in Morse Code.

The included 2600mAh battery provides up to 32 hours of normal use.

Best rated emergency radio, only drawback is Midland proprietary battery, have to buy it from them at inflated price. I am very pleased with the emergency crank radio. I am preparing my own family's emergency kit and this radio is perfect for it-lightweight, many ways to power it, the multi-function flashlight and the radio is easy to use with the auto seek button. I plan to get a carabiner for my emergency kit so that the emergency radio can be attached to the outside of a backpack for the solar panel function in the event of an emergency. This radio would also be perfect for backcountry camping or a cottage too.

Great emergency radio. Hope we never need to use it, but if we do I am confident it will be helpful. Really solid build, feels great. This isn't a cheap $2 radio branded as an Emergency Radio. We've been using it for a few months and it's amazing. The menu isn't too difficult to understand. I was able to navigate through all of the alert options and pick the ones I wanted. Mine is set to only notify me of major events, such as a tornado or thunderstorm warning. It notifies me much before any weather applications, and it is loud enough to wake me up in the middle of the night if a tornado warning is issued. When there are tiny notifications that I don't want it to make a noise for, I enjoy that it still lights up.
